Dennis Breese is originally from Southern California and has long-standing ties to Cooranbong, New South Wales. He first arrived in Cooranbong 25 years ago to study at Avondale College, excited by the opportunity to pursue higher education and experience Australia’s coastal lifestyle.
Dennis completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Avondale University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Teaching in 2008. Following his studies, Dennis and his wife returned to California, where he taught high school art and other subjects at a small Seventh-day Adventist school in Orange County.
Personal experiences with back pain at different stages of life sparked Dennis’s interest in human movement and physical health. Motivated to better understand his own condition, he transitioned from secondary teaching to physiotherapy. After five years of intensive study, he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University in 2015.

He holds general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and maintains physiotherapy registration in California.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dennis continues to expand his clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development. His areas of expertise include acute and chronic back pain, vertigo, balance disorders, muscle strains and sprains, upper and lower limb injuries, and neurological and cardiovascular rehabilitation.
Outside of his professional life, Dennis can often be found surfing at Catherine Hill Bay (Moonees), painting coastal landscapes, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family.

CALEB HAY
Receptionist

Caleb grew up in Sydney and still visits often to spend time with his mum, dad, and sisters. He is currently studying nursing at Avondale University and is dedicated to building his medical knowledge as he works toward becoming an excellent nurse.
Friendly and organised, Caleb aims to be a welcoming face when you visit the practice—ready to help with enquiries and always willing to listen. He recognises that every patient comes from unique circumstances and works closely with Dennis to ensure everyone receives the best possible care. When he’s not studying or assisting at Cooranbong Physio, Caleb can often be found helping at a GP clinic in Hornsby.
In his spare time, Caleb enjoys exploring with his university friends, relaxing in a hammock in the Watagans, grabbing coffee in Newcastle, diving under the waves at Moonee Beach, or curling up with a good book. A lover of history and geography, he hopes to visit Antarctica one day.
